An experienced commercial real estate advisor for over 25 years, Wesley is the Founder and Managing Member of Otemanu Group, LLC and Otemanu Capital, LLC. Otemanu works with clients on various deal structuring and equity raising for tax mitigation, tax credit syndication and tax incentivized real estate including preservation projects and Opportunity Zones. Serving the needs of high net worth/high income taxpayers, family office equity and institutional capital, Otemanu helps investors find asset allocations that fit their investment criteria mostly focused in real estate and real estate related investments.
Based in the Atlanta office, Otemanu Group provides guidance to investors and developer on real estate transactions, pre-acquisition/development due diligence and structuring, tax mitigation strategies, tax and financial modeling and introductions to equity and strategic partners.
Prior to founding Otemanu Group, Wesley was the National Opportunity Zone leader for Cherry Bekaert and was also previously the Southeast Commercial Real Estate Lead and Atlanta Office Managing partner for CohnReznick. Wesley is currently the Chair for the 2019 Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Fundraiser. He previously held various Board of Directors positions with local chapters of NAIOP, Central Atlanta Progress, Urban Land Institute (Treasurer), The City of Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and was on the National Board of Directors for the National Multi-Housing Council. Wesley is a has spoken at over 20 real estate conferences around the nation this in 2019. Wesley holds a Master's of Accounting (Tax) from Auburn University.

Partner and Chief Operating Officer
Scott Hudson, Partner and Chief Operating Officer, has more than 30 years of experience in accounting, administration and operations. Prior to joining Otemanu Group, he has held senior-level finance and operations positions in a variety of sectors including banking & finance, government contracting, manufacturing, real estate and the not-for-profit-sector. His vast work experience includes publicly traded companies, both large and small privately-held businesses and international organizations. Scott is a certified public accountant as well as a chartered global management accountant. He also is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Auburn University.

Katelyn oversees all marketing, business development, and client relationship management for Otemanu Companies. Katelyn has over 12 years of experience developing strategic initiatives to support efforts in pursuing significant client opportunities. Prior to joining the Firm, Katelyn worked for top Local, Regional and National advisory firms where she managed marketing, sales, and practice growth strategies. Katelyn graduated from Penn State University with a B.A. in Journalism.
